On February 11, 2017, a Valentine's Day Dance was held at the American Legion Post 312 in St. Charles, MO. All proceeds from ticket sales, 50/50 drawings, and raffles went toward The Officer Mathew Crosby Home Fund.

The dance had over 300 attendees and guests were entertained by The Galaxies Band who sponsored the event. The event raised close to $8,000 to go toward Matt's new home.
In April 2010, Rock Hill, Missouri police officer Mathew Crosby was shot and paralyzed while responding to a domestic violence call. Over the years, Matt has endured many surgeries, setbacks, and struggles since he was catastrophically injured.  A home fund has been established to improve his residence.
On May 21, 2017  the Galaxies performed at Shamrocks Pub N Grill in St. Peters, MO for yet another fundraiser to benefit Officer Crosby's home fund.  Six other bands participated and it was a very successful event with a good turnout.
The Galaxies are always pleased to play fundraisers for our veterans and first responders!
